The first local qualifier for the PlayGolf.mobi Golf Challenge Series by baygo will be on the first Wednesday after the 5,000th player registers. Two weeks later, one golfer will putt for an estimated $100,000. This Challenge Series has been created for, but is not limited to, non-tour-rated professional male or female golfers of any age. Categories
This challenge is issued to three categories of golfer to compete against each other.
The categories are:
-Open Men
-Men over 50
-Open Women

Open Men will compete from the longest set of tees possible. The Men Over 50 compete from a set of tees set at a distance approximately 10% shorter than the back tee. The Women will compete from a tee set approximately 15% shorter than the back tee.

Membership and Fees
Weekly qualifiers are only open to golfers who are current members of the PlayGolf.mobi community. Yearly dues are $25 and provides access to your PlayGolf.mobi Player's Administration Page where you can register for events, track your scores and earnings, and more.
The entry fee for the weekly Local Qualifier is $50 and does not include greens fees. When you win the Local Qualifier, you do not pay an entry fee for the Regional Qualifier.
You can play as often as you like.

The Challenge and Prize Structure
The PlayGolf.mobi Golf Challenge takes three consecutive weeks to win:
Week 1 is the Local Qualifier;
Week 2 is the Regional Qualifier;
Week 3 is the Single Elimination Match Play between the 4 Regional Qualifiers.
A new Challenge Series will begin each week.

The Challenge Series starts with a Local Qualifier. The winner of the Local Qualifier earns 40% of the total entry fees from their own Local Qualifier, and advances to compete in the Regional Qualifier which takes place on the following Wednesday (locations to be determined). Winners from each of the four Regional Qualifiers will earn 2.5% of the total from ALL entry fees for that round of the Challenge - an estimated $5,000 - and advance to the Weekly Championship Match Play on the following Wednesday. The winner of the Weekly Championship Match Play earns 30% of the total from entry fees for that challenge - An estimated total of $100,000. (Please note totals are based on participation numbers, actual totals may vary.)

Winners must be available to travel to the Regional Qualifier and the Championship Match Play Round. Ideally, winnings from each qualifier will fund travel to the next round.

All players who advance to the Regional Qualifiers and the Weekly Championship Match Play are encouraged to have with them, or in their caddie's possession, a web capable cell phone. Through your PlayGolf.mobi Player's Administration Page, you will be provided with a cellphone friendly scorecard where you can post your scores during the round so that interested parties can follow your play.

Points
All top ten finishers in ALL weekly events earn points. The points are accumulated and the 32 players with the highest total at the end of the season earn a spot in the PlayGolf.mobi Golf Challenge End of the Season Championship, held on a TBD date in November. The prize money for this single elimination match play competition will be no less than 10% of all entry fees accrued throughout the course of the season.

Your Player`s Administration Page
Each member of the PlayGolf.mobi Golf Community has password protected access to their Player`s Administration Page. From this page, members can register to play in an event, review results from previous events, and obtain rank and money statistics. The Player`s Administration Page also displays a running total of the amount in the PlayGolf.mobi Golf Challenge End of the Season Championship Prize Pool. Your Player Administration page is the primary method of communication with PlayGolf.mobi, tournament hosts and organizers.

Each competitor must have a PayPal account. This is the only method for members to pay Annual Dues and the Qualifier Entry Fees. All first and second stage winnings will be deposited directly into the winners' PayPal account immediately following the completion of each stage of the competition. The Weekly Championship Match Play Round Grand Prize will be sent via bank wire.
